14 May Our first weeks in San Francisco!
So if you have been following me on this blog or on social media, you probably know that my husband and I moved from Amsterdam to the other side of the world. Three weeks ago we jumped into the plane and after an eleven hours-flight we arrived in San Francisco. Despite the fact that we had to arrange a lot of things that come with a move like this (furniture, wifi, bank account, etc), we definitely took the time to go into Frisco as well. As real Duchies we explored our new hometown by bike. We went all the way up to Twin Peaks where we had the most beautiful views over the Bay Area. We also biked to The Ferry Building, Pier 39, Sausalito and Marina. The Californian Fish ‘n Chips as well as the burgers have been ordered quite a lot this past few weeks, all to share because we still need to adjust to the American portions. We also had so much fun on the romantic Sunset Cruise and the amazing sail trip over the Bay with our new friend Mark (for the vlog of this sail-trip, please click here). Somehow I think that we will enjoy ourselves the coming months and please let me know if you have any tips to make our stay in San Francisco, California, even more fun.
