What and where to eat in New York City

Even though I visited New York only for a short period of time, I was lucky to enjoy many of its drinks and food delights. In only four days we went to the best little gems in NYC to have ice-cream and sweets, brunch as well as cocktails and bites! For those who are planning to visit The Big Apple any time soon, I listed my hotspots and recommendations below. Please feel free to add your tips in the comment section below as I hope to visit The city that never sleeps again soon!

Where to go for Ice-cream & sweets in New York City

Van Leeuwen, a mini ice cream empire with stores and trucks in NYC. All the flavours are made from scratch. I chose the vegan red currant wedding cake and peanut butter choice chip! Oehhh, so yummy!!

The famous Magnolia Bakery (featured in SATC) is a must-visit for some classic American baked goods, like cupcakes and this delicious red-velvet cheese-cake!

Get yourself an ice-cream with sprinkles at the NYCTruckFood!

Where to have brunch in New York City

The Waverly Inn is a stylish and cozy club in the West Village to have brunch in the weekends!

Buvette is a must go if you love a sweet mix of Parisian and NYC vibes. Make sure you order the waffles and scrambled eggs in this little place that combines the elegance of an old world cafe with the casual nature of a neighbourhood eatery.

Want to know how tasty a sustainable and vegan lifestyle can be?! Make sure you go to by Chloe on Bleecker Street. Try one of the vegan burgers and the Spicy Thai Salad!

Where to have drinks in New York City

On top of 230 Fifth Avenue you will find a rooftop bar that you can absolutely not miss when you visit The City! Any cocktail on the menu would be a good option combined with the Chicken stripes!
