Bumpdate ♥ 31 weeks

Happy Sunday! Today I want to share a new bumpdate as I’m already 31 weeks pregnant (equals 7 full months). I still feel super good and I’m just very excited about everything that is and will be happening. We just moved to our new house in Haarlem and we are so happy to get settled in and everything ready for this new chapter in our life: becoming a family in about 9 weeks! Scroll down to read about the journey!

Bumpdate ♥ 31 weeks pregnant

How far along? 31 weeks and 5 days already! The baby is already the size of a coconut and weights up to 1,5 kg. We had another ultrasound and the baby is growing exactly as he is supposed to (#proudmommymoment).

Kicking? Yes, baby boy is kicking all the time so I guess he will be a very talented soccer player! However, he doesn’t keep me awake at night and during the day I enjoy his movements a lot. I already saw my belly moving one time he kicked (so bizarre and cool!).

How do I feel? Well, still super good! At least, so good that I sometimes just forget that I’m pregnant (is that bad?!?!?). However, I take care of myself very well by taking a lot of rest, eating healthy and avoiding any carrying.

Total weight gain? Of course I gained weight, but I’m still on the same weight as I was with my 25 weeks bumpdate. So in total 8 kilos… However, I don’t recognize my body anymore as a lot has changed…

Best moment this week? The bbq with our friends in our new home!

Weird moment this week? When I tried to put on my shoes and tried to bend over, getting them tied was rough… It was very uncomfortable and it was like baby boy shouted – hello, I’m in here!! It was hilarious.

Belly button in or out? Out..!

Cravings? Well nothing in particular (besides from anything chocolate). However I am super super thirsty all the time.

Maternity clothes? I have a couple of maternity trousers and a few shirts, but I mostly wear wider dresses and shirts from normal collections, like this dress. This also helps me in still being Susanne instead of the ‘heavily pregnant girl’;).

Name? Yes we have the name and it is perfect for our little boy! However, we will keep it a secret until our baby boy is born.

Ailments? Well before our move last week, I felt a little stressed and that is not good for the baby. I feel like he is already keeping my stress level in control as my body said STOP when I was overdoing it. So thank you little boy ♥

Any foods I’m missing? Yes, I am missing having a scroppino as dessert this summer!!

Sleep? I sleep a lot and still, very well. Like I said, I feel very good, but I’m also taking a lot of rest.

Exercise? Still swimming 3 times a week (1500m). It is a new work-out I discovered while I was pregnant at 16 weeks and I very much enjoy it. It’s almost a sort of therapy, as I’m disconnected from the world and it just me and the baby.

Look forward to? Now that we moved into our new home, I’m super excited to finalize the nursery.
