Yay, I just arrived in the Netherlands! And even though I am very happy and excited to be here, it was a very long trip to Amsterdam. Normally the flight from Houston only takes 9 hours but because my sweet husband took us to the wrong airport – yes Houston has two airports – we didn’t “take off” smoothly. We had to rebook our flight directly, and because of our delay on airport 1, we missed our transfer at airport 2, which resulted in another change of booking, and that flight also got delayed… So you understand, my husband didn’t score a lot of points on this journey;). But with my new luxury travel bags by Hudson + Bleecker, the trip that took us 18 hours wasn’t all that bad.
