01 Dec Hello December – Let’s get ready to party!
Hello December, I’ve been waiting for you! Holiday month is here and I am very much looking forward to all the celebrations that are going to take place in the next 31 days. December is the month of Christmas and New Year’s eve. And these holidays are the perfect excuse for a lot of time with friends & family, countless drinks & lots of food and many scintillating holiday outfits & looks.
Now that it is never too early to get some outfit inspiration for the holidays, I wanted to share my tips on how to get a killer look for Christmas or New Years:
- Sparkle and shine: December is the month of twinkles, flickers and glimmers. And these become only more beautiful in the soft candle light, the little lamps in the Christmas tree or the fireworks. All this glitz will make you instantly ready to party and have a contagious effect on your family and friends. So make sure you get yourself some sequins, embellishments, glitters and shimmers because you absolutely want to sparkle and shine on the party of the year;
- Stay cozy: you want to make sure you stay warm, classy and convenient. I sincerely want to recommend that you don’t go out too naked. Besides the fact that your father probably doesn’t like that, is it very cold outside. The sweater looks festive but also keeps me from freezing. And if the weather is truly bad, I can always add some tights. What I also love about this look, it that it doesn’t constrain to closely around my tummy, which is ideal for the big Christmas dinner and the ‘oliebollen’-party; and
- Get yourself the perfect bag: what else did you expert from this bag-aholic. Of course – your bag will make your outfit! Because none of your looks will be complete without a knockout bag! Unisa created my perfect December container: a glistering little bucket bag with silver coloured fringes; impeccable don’t you think?! Please let this third tip off be the trigger to get yourself that beautiful Christmas present that will make you look like a stunner right away.
Hope this helps you getting yourself the perfect December holiday outfit!
Btw, this look contains a little imperfection; can you tell what it is?
