16 Aug My own version of San Francisco Style
San Francisco is not really known for its style. Better said, GQ even listed San Francisco in it’s top 20 worst dressed cities in America (click here for the article)! If you ask me, San Francisco style is best described as comfy, casual and practical; a lot like the famous attire of Marc Zuckerberg. You might call it uncool but let’s face it, the San Francisco people work hard (all in tech) and need to be ready at any time to walk their dog, bike a hill or jump on their skateboard.
My own version of San Francisco Style!
Today I show you my version of San Francisco Style. This look is a mix of San Francisco’s casual, practical and comfortable characteristics and the feminine, sparkling and exclusive fashion preferences that fit my personal style:
- The poplin model of the eShakti dress is exclusive as well as very functional on the bike (yes, as a true Dutchie I go everywhere on my bike in SF). The leafs make this dress very festive while it also has very practical side pockets and inner shoulder bra strap keeps. This dress is unique because eShakti enables you to customize the dress that you like. You can adjust it to your style as you can choose the neckline, the sleeve types and the length. To give you an example, I asked to make the dress a bit shorter (above the knee) and to make my sleeves longer to meet my elbows.
- The sneakers make this look comfortable and sparkling. That is what I love about this pair of elegant sneakers. They enhance any look but also enable me to jump on the bike or to cross any hill I may encounter in San Francisco!
- This Ecco bag is one of my favorites as it is feminine in a casual way. I love how the soft metallic tones combine with almost any look to turn it into something elegant, but not too girly. I have been a metallic lover for quite a while, and I will continue to be as this trend will be big again this winter!
So this is my version of San Francisco Style. What would yours be? And do you like mine?
