The best nursery bag

The best nursery bag

So last weekend we went on our baby moon to the North of France. As I was 36 weeks pregnant at that time, my husband asked me before we left, whether I had packed the baby’s and my hospital bags in case ‘something’ would happen there. Oeps – small panic attack – but he was right, it could happen any moment now, and so I did take the hospital bags. And even though we would have loved having a little Frenchman, I’m very happy that he waited for us to be back home so we can welcome him in our lives in Haarlem. However, this trip did assure that the hospital bags are packed in time. I packed the baby’s essentials in my new nursery bag. It is a ultra soft felt diaper bag from Childhome. This backpack has a luxurious design, functional pockets, two large compartments and a foldable changing mat which makes it ideal for nursing our baby on the road. I really wanted to have a backpack so we would have our hands free at all times. Also, I think this is a cool bag to be worn by both daddy and mommy. Other items that I’m currently obsessing over, are my new TOMS accessories. My shoes are so fun and comfortable and they also contribute to a better world with TOMS One for One ideology. Because with every pair of  shoes, TOMS will give a new pair to a child in need. And with a pair of TOMS sunglasses, they help restore sight to an individual through sight-saving surgery, prescription glasses or medical treatment. That is why I extra enjoy wearing these sunglasses and shoes. Ahhh today I’m 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant – only 16 more days until my due date! I’ll keep you posted:)
