The best gift from Santa!

The best gift from Santa!

This is the best Christmas present ever and it is not even a bag! It keeps me warm, it is super soft and adds a special touch to any outfit! Even this simple ‘school girl’ look is in one single step upgraded to a greater level. The best Santa ever gave me these ear muffs, mostly because he thought that they would look super cute on me.

Cute… Haha, the last time I was cute I was still going to school, a long long time ago. And this inspired me to dress myself in a classic school uniform, including one of the typical schoolbags: a messenger bag. This type of bag is already on trend this season and will continue to be on trend in Spring/Summer 2016 (as shown by Marc Jacobs and JW Anderson, see more here). I really like wearing this bag as it gives a kind of relaxed and cool feeling. Because the messenger bag was originally made for couriers to deliver all the messages via post, these bags are very practical: a rectangular bag with a flap that is worn over one shoulder with a strap that goes across the chest and resting on the lower back. However, today it is a true fashion icon. Like this suede piece with the subtle touch of the white faux fur. Do you like the messenger bag and do you have one in your collection?
