The wedding season is on! It is time for love, time to party and time to dress up. It is a big day full of joy and emotion. It takes a lot of planning and organizing and I guess that the easiest part is saying “yes” to the question, “Will you take this man/woman to be your lawfully wedded husband/wife”. I believe that the bride has to accomplish the most challenging task: finding her perfect wedding dress. But – from what I have experienced so far – the wedding guests may also have a hard time buying a beautiful and appropriate dress. We all know that we should never put on a white dress, black formal clothing or jeans (unless of course, there is a specific dress code). Then what is? In the below I show you three looks with a matching bag that are flawless, festive and fashionable to wear at a wedding. Which one is your favorite?
Wat trek ik aan naar een huwelijk?
Het huwelijkseizoen is in volle gang! Het is de tijd voor de liefde, tijd om te feesten en tijd om onszelf mooi aan te kleden. Het is een belangrijke dag vol geluk en emotie en de perfecte bruiloft kost veel voorbereidingstijd en organisatie. Best grappig dat het makkelijkste onderdeel van de dag het geven van het jawoord is op de vraag, “Neem je deze man / vrouw tot je wettige echtgenoot / echtgenote”. De lastigste taak is toebedeeld aan de bruid, zij moet namelijk de perfecte jurk vinden voor de gelukkigste dag uit haar leven. Maar – en dan spreek ik uit eigen ervaring – kan het ook voor de gasten een uitdaging zijn om een mooie en passende outfit te vinden. We weten allemaal dat een witte jurk, zwarte formele kleding en jeans not done zijn (tenzij er een specifieke dresscode is natuurlijk). Wat dan wel?
