09 Mar The bag of… Who is that blonde!
When I first met Lynn of the fashion blog, Who is that Blonde, I was blown away by her taste for bags as she was carrying a red Les Petits Joueurs bag. Obviously I had to make a compliment about her arm candy and we started talking. Her positive attitude, her smile and pure beauty impressed me. She told me that she was happily living in Barcelona where she works as a model and as a blogger. She loves spending time with her boyfriend and works very hard to achieve her dreams. She is self-made and trained herself to become an expert on fashion, art, travelling, creativity and more. Curious to know more about this blondie, make sure you scroll down for The bag of Who is that Blonde?
What is the story between you and the bag in the pictures?
This bag is from Fameuz, an emerging brand from the Netherlands which I started noticing a couple of weeks ago. I think their concept is great because they only buy rest materials to make their products in order to reduce waste. This is not only a great statement, but also assures that whatever you buy from them is unique and you might never find it anywhere anymore! I love the personal touch of Fameuz, which makes me love to wear their bags! This particular bag is lovely because it goes with all of my outfits and works for any occasion, and don’t you think the structure is super cool?!
What can we find in your bag?
In this particular bag I only take the bare essentials since it’s not too big. You’ll be able to find my agenda since I’m a huge scatterbrain and I can’t go anywhere without it, my business cards since you never know who you might meet and my phone + its charger (obviously). Furthermore, I also take my KIKO lip gloss & concealer in case a touch-up is necessary, and of course some cash. Usually you will also find me carrying around a huge bottle of water and some fruit… I really can’t stand being hungry or thirsty haha!
How many bags do you have in your collection?
That is a very good question, I have no clue actually haha! I would say between 10-20 but it’s hard to keep count… usually I have phases in which I use 2-3 bags like… ALL the time and I even forget that the others exist *ups*.
Do you prefer a classic designer bag over a striking statement piece or more the other way around?
Of course everyone loves their classic designer bags… But I have to admit that a fun statement bag definitely makes my heart beat faster! I love to see how it puts a smile on people’s faces when they see it, and it’s a great topic for conversations!
Which bag is on top of your wish list?
What is the craziest or most special shoot you have done in your model or blogger career?
Not that long ago I had an amazing time shooting in the middle of nowhere (somewhere in Girona) with the most gorgeous, perfectly white horse I had ever seen. The photoshoot was for a Spanish magazine and I was supposed to portray a powerful Goddess on her Pegasus horse, he even had wings! I had a hard time focusing because I wanted to just cuddle Calypso (the horse) ALL the time, she was so sweet! Also I remember very well spending two hours in a bathtub full of milk for an Italian magazine (great for my skin, but very weird if you’re wearing clothes), or that other time that I had to jump on a trampoline for a full hour while people were throwing glitters at me for the Christmas video of a Turkish lingerie brand.
Who is your style icon?
This might sound weird, but I don’t have a specific style icon. I love so many different styles that it’s impossible to pick one! However, I truly admire the fashion houses Balmain and Moschino. If it comes to attitude I would go for Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe: elegant, sexy and powerful women!
You live in Barcelona. What do you love about this city and what are your favourite hotspots?
Better is to ask: what do I NOT love about this city?! The great thing about Barcelona is that it has everything: mountains and beach, great weather, nice people, beautiful architecture, low prices, good food, it’s vibrant and full of people but it doesn’t feel crowded because of the open spaces. No matter how long you live here, you keep finding new cool spots and there are events every single day! I don’t think I will ever get enough of Barcelona!
At the moment I’m spending a lot of time in Ciutadella Park because it’s close to my house and it’s lovely to relax. To get fashion inspiration I love to hang out in the super trendy concept store Passage BCN – and enjoy a nice drink in their Champagne Bar while doing so. My favorite clubs are CDLC and the W Hotel, and for eating I definitely recommend you to check out Tropico BCN for fun hipster food, Bistro Petit Pot for the best soy cappuccino, and Maka Maka for the tastiest Vegetarian Burgers you ever had!
What is the most beautiful spot you have visit so far and which destination is on top of your bucket list?
If I’m speaking worldwide I would have to go for the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand or Bocas del Toro in Panama: those places are the true definition of Paradise! I honestly wouldn’t know which destination would be the Nr. 1 on my bucket list because there are so many places I am dying to see… probably Miami, Bali, Cape Town and Australia would be ranking very high!
