Time after time I’m amazed about the beauty of California. You don’t even have to go far to find a genuine and peaceful place! Like these golden fields 40 minutes south from San Francisco, a magical location to shoot this perfect summer ootd. As I’m obsessed with pompoms, these shorts were just on point, especially combined with the perfect pink bomber jacket. It was supposed to keep me warm, but it turned out to be completely unnecessary:). The sunglasses however were very crucial, which I stole from my husband that morning. The shoulder bag by Leontine Hagoort secured the feminine and chic touch to this casual outfit. It is a trendy black and offwhite clutch bag, decorated with a delicate cutout pattern and hand placed studs. It goes with any outfit and style, which is such a great characteristic of this beautiful accessory.
While I realised how beautiful the world can be as I was standing in these marvellous golden fields in this fun-loving outfit, I felt this incredible feeling of freedom. Freedom to dance, run or play. Freedom to act, speak or think as well freedom to choose whom we love. Freedom to do so in peace, in harmony and with respect for the one next to you, who also enjoys his freedom. Life is precious and I will never understand how in a world of so much beauty, we can still find reasons to hate and ways to infringe freedom. It is heartbreaking that attacks keep on happening where innocent people loose their lives. But even though these happenings cause a lot of pain and fear that breach our safety and liberation, we have to celebrate and support the freedom and beauty that will always dominate our society. #lovealwayswins
