Last Sunday my husband and I went to Park Tavern for brunch to celebrate our three months anniversary. I know, I know..! It isn’t that big of an achievement, but as I said in this article, it is a very good excuse for a little romance. My friend Catherine from My Power Pose (you really should check her blog) recommended this upscale American tavern in the historic North Beach neighbourhood. Once we got in around 12:30 pm we were kindly welcomed and brought to our table. I was impressed by the decoration and styling that turned this tavern into a cozy and handsome dining room. Once we were seated, we decided to start with a mimosa for the Mr. and a bellini for the Mrs. (why not?!). The menu includes seasonal, market-driven dishes such as farm eggs, french toast, pancakes and hamburgers. I must admit it was a very hard choice, but we finally opted for the farm eggs and french toast as well as some extra delicious mimosa’s and bellini’s! I can’t wait to go back for another brunch, lunch or dinner, as it appears that the seafood and meat dishes are also very tasty.
