“Put on your dancing shoes, it is party time!” That was the text that accompanied my picture on instagram this weekend. Yes, I am totally in the party mood and I therefore decided to wear this dress for this particular shoot! Sea blue is my favorite color and I have always been a great fan of sequins. It therefore kind of feels like this French Connection Selene Sequin Mermaid Dress was made for me. As well as this bag with the big hearts logo and fringes. It all started with the ribbon that is attached to the bags and says: “I dare you to love me“. Well, as a bagaholic, I accepted the challenge. At first I wanted to combine this Joe Hart Bag with a casual look, which was a good but safe option. Then I thought about wearing a jumpsuit and pumps, but I still felt that this bag could handle more. For that reason I finally opt for this striking party dress and golden pumps. This bag is both feminine, like this dress, and tough which is perfect to prevent a too girlish appearance. I think that this Valentine Hart Bag succeeded it mission: it made me love it. Particularly because this bag is made of beautiful soft leather, finished with pink lining and fine silver hardware. Misschien hebben jullie het al gezien op Instagram, maar dit weekend plaatste ik een foto met de tekst: “Put on your dancing shoes, it is party time!” Ja, ik ben helemaal in de feeststemming en daarom koos ik deze French Connection jurk voor deze shoot. Zeeblauw is mijn favoriete kleur en ik ben altijd al groot fan geweest van palletten. Het voelt daarom ook alsof deze jurk speciaal voor me gemaakt is, net als de tas met de drie harten en de franjes. Het begon allemaal toen ik de roze tekst op het zwarte lint las: “I dare you to love me”. En, als tassengek ging ik deze uitdaging natuurlijk aan. Eerst wilde ik deze Joe Hart Bag combineren met een alledaagse nonchalante outfit, een goede maar veilige optie. Toen dacht ik aan mijn jumpsuit met hakken, maar ik had het idee dat deze tas wel meer aan kon. Daarom heb ik uiteindelijk gekozen voor deze opvallende jurk met goudkleurige pumps. De tas is vrouwelijk, zoals de jurk, maar ook stoer zodat mijn look niet te meisjesachtig zou worden. Nou… het is gelukt: deze Valentine Hart Bag heeft mijn hart veroverd. Met name omdat de tas is gemaakt van prachtig leer en afgewerkt met een knalroze voering en zilverkleurige hardware.
